A handmade narco sub is on the verge of sinking and losing its precious cargo. The three crew members are forced to open the forbidden cabin where they find a special “gift” for the buyer. The boat, barely big enough for them to begin with, becomes a steaming powder keg of fears, desires, and greed.

Alfredo León León
Alfredo is an Ecuadorian producer, writer, and director. In 1913 he premiered his first feature film, the critically acclaimed and award-studded, Open Wound, a historic drama. Submersible is his second feature film as writer and director. He is executive producer of the video production company, BOOM. For over fifteen years he has been writing and directing television series, publicity videos, and web content.
Alfredo has a post graduate degree In long format fiction scriptwriting from ESCAC Universidad de Barcelona, a Master’s degree in creating audiovisual scripts from Universidad de La Rioja. He earned a BA in Film and Video from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where he teaches film.
