A man and a woman lie half naked on a bed with tangled sheets in a hotel room. They look at each other silently, barely uttering murmurs that get lost in the threatening sounds from outside. They are in hiding while a TV newscast seems to implicate them in a bank raid. She returns home while he stays in the room writing his story. Just then, suspicion emerges: was it a betrayal, was it lying with the enemy, or was everything solely the product of his own imagination.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Pablo Fiallos was born in Quito in 1976. He studied Cinema and Television at the Center of Cinematographic Investigations in Buenos Aires. He has directed short films, has been a documentary producer, and has made several commercials. He has been a film critic for the Ecuadorian newspaper, El Comercio. He writes for the Colombian film critics’ magazine, Kinetoscope, and the Ecuadorian magazines, World Diners, Carton Stone, and Q Magazine. He is the founder and director of the film magazine, Zoom.
