5th ECUADORIAN FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK EFFNY2019 OCT 18-20

This year the Ecuadorian Film Festival in New York takes place in the midst of an extremely delicate political situation in Ecuador. EFFNY, which was born as a common and inclusive space to present Ecuadorian stories and talk about Ecuador, cannot remain indifferent to this situation. Those of us who organize this festival in New York sympathize with people in that country and with their current situation. We invite you to participate in this fifth celebration, to enjoy with us and other members of our Ecuadorian community and film aficionados the stories of this South American country, to hug one another, and listen to and comment on the issues that concern us all. In its fifth year, the EFFNY will once again be a place to meet, learn more about Ecuador, and exchange ideas about this country that we love so much.

See you at the cinema!
