Moving from the house that has been his home for 20 years, presents Daniel to a harsh reality: he does not know who his neighbors that have surrounded him for so many years are. Now he will not leave without discovering his stories.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Daniel Yépez Brito is an Ecuadorian film and television scriptwriter, producer and director. He is currently working with the production company, Retrogusto Films. In 2012, his animated short film “Galápagos Contracorriente” (“Galápagos Undertow”) earned the first prizeatn the New York Imagine Science Film Festival that took place in Quito, Ecuador. In 2014, he was selected for the workshop "Filming in Colombia with Abbas Kiarostami” where he created the short film, "Vida" (“Life”),. The film was Best Short Film and Best Performance at the La Orquídea International Film Festival in Cuenca; Best International Short Film at the Barranquilla International Film Festival; Official Choice of the Colombian Film Panorama: Paris - Barcelona - London. I also showcased at the Cannes Film Festival. This achievement earns him a place in Abbas Kiarostami’s workshop in Barcelona, where he makes the short film “El recolector de imágenes” (“The Image Collector,” 33rd Fajr International Film Festival). The same year, in Colombia, he directed a segment of the collective motion picture “Anthropos,” released at the Cartagena International Film Festival. He is currently working on the documentary “7 Muros” (7 Walls) for the DOCTV Latinamérica 5th edition, as well as his first fiction film.
